How do I order?
Ordering is super easy:

3. Add to cart and place your order

How do I send you my photos?
Upload them before you add your product to cart by clicking on the big bight "Choose Files" button. It's a simple upload — no app needed, just your phone or computer. If you have any trouble, email your photos directly tohello@somagnetic.com.auand we'll take it from there.
What size are the magnets?
All our magnets are 5×5cm square. This is the perfect size for a fridge gallery — big enough to see clearly, small enough to display lots of them together.
Can I use different photos for each magnet in a set?
Yes, absolutely. Each magnet in a set can be a completely different photo — mix pets, people, places, whatever you want. You can also repeat the same photo across all magnets if you want a matching set.
Can I see a preview before you make it?
We don't offer digital proofs, but we check every photo before printing. If we think your photo might not print well (too dark, too blurry, too low resolution), we'll reach out before we make it. Your satisfaction is guaranteed — if you're not happy, we'll remake it.
What is your return and refund policy?
Because every magnet is custom-made from your personal photos, we're unable to offer returns or refunds for change of mind. However, if your order arrives damaged, or if we've made an error on our end, we'll remake it at no cost to you. Your satisfaction matters to us — if something goes wrong, just email us at hello@somagnetic.com.au with a photo and we'll sort it out straight away.
Photos & Quality
What kind of photos work best?
Clear, well-lit photos taken on a phone or camera work best. The sharper the original, the sharper the magnet. Try to avoid heavily filtered photos, extreme close-ups of faces that are already blurry, or screenshots of screenshots.
Can I use an ultrasound photo?
Yes! Ultrasound images are very popular. Just know they can print a little darker than expected due to the original image contrast — the brighter and clearer your ultrasound image, the better the result.
Can I use a screenshot from social media?
We'd recommend using the original photo if possible. Screenshots from Instagram or Facebook are compressed and lower resolution, which can affect the final print quality. If it's the only version you have, send it through and we'll let you know if it's going to be an issue.
What if I don't like how my magnet turns out?
We stand behind every magnet we make. If your photo doesn't print beautifully, arrives damaged, or you're genuinely not happy with the result, we'll remake it. No drama, no hoops to jump through. Just email us at hello@somagnetic.com.au.
Shipping
How long does delivery take?
We dispatch within 1–2 business days of receiving your photos. Standard Australian shipping typically takes 3–7 business days after dispatch depending on your location. Express options are available at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship worldwide. International delivery times vary by destination, typically 7–21 business days. We offer a $30 Flat International Rate.
How will my magnets be packaged for shipping?
Your magnets are carefully packaged to arrive safely. They're protected so they don't scratch or chip in transit.
Can I get express shipping?
Yes, express shipping within Australia is available at checkout.
The Products
How strong is the magnet?
Strong enough to hold a few sheets of paper on a standard fridge. They're designed for display, not heavy-duty holding — but they'll stay put on your fridge without sliding.
Are the magnets waterproof?
The photo surface has a high-gloss finish that's resistant to light splashes and humidity, making them suitable for kitchen use. We don't recommend submerging them or leaving them in direct water.
How long will the colours last?
With normal indoor use, your magnets will keep their colour vibrancy for years. Keep them out of prolonged direct sunlight to maintain the best quality.
Will the magnet damage my fridge surface?
No. Our magnets are smooth on the back and won't scratch or mark standard fridge surfaces.
Orders & Payments
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Contact us as soon as possible at hello@somagnetic.com.au. If we haven't started production yet, we can make changes. Once we've begun making your magnets, we're unable to cancel but we can discuss options.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay via our secure Shopify checkout.
Do you offer gift wrapping or gift messages?
Not currently, but it's coming soon. If you need a gift message included, email us at hello@somagnetic.com.au and we'll add it to your package.
Events, Weddings & Bulk Orders
Do you do weddings or corporate events?
Yes! We offer custom magnet packages for weddings, corporate events, and brand activations. We can set up a live printing station at your event, or produce bulk pre-printed sets. Email us at hello@somagnetic.com.au or visit our Events page for more information.
Can I order in bulk for a business or gift hamper?
Absolutely. We work with businesses for corporate gifting, client gifts, and event favours. Get in touch at hello@somagnetic.com.au to discuss quantities and pricing.
